What is it like to grow up a different colour in modern Britain? Two of the best known black women in the UK discuss at this Media Society Event kindly supported by Reed Smith LLP.
Afua Hirsch is a lawyer, columnist for The Guardian and former Social Affairs editor of Sky News. Her new book 'Brit(ish) On Race, Identity and Belonging' will be published in February and will be available for sale on the night.
June Sarpong MBE is a British television presenter, broadcaster and former panellist on ITV's Loose Women. She is currently part of the panel on Sky News’ The Pledge.
Both are of Ghanaian descent but born in the United Kingdom
