Paul is Head of Journalism at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. He has been deeply involved with British newspapers for around forty years; working at local, regional and national press level as a reporter.
His contacts in the national media go back many years, and he has close contacts with many senior figures in Fleet street. For the past 20 years, he has directed the Journalism Programme at the London College of Communication (formerly Printing).
He has strong views on all issues facing the media today, and a good contexual knowledge of the history of the media. As well has serving with us on the board of The Media Society, he is also a judge for the British Press Awards and the Regional Press Awards.
