A journalist and presenter for ITV News and ITV London, she regularly presents the Early Evening News and has continued a successful career after having her first child, Alfie, last year.
With almost 20 years, she's also presented news programmes across BBC TV and Radio. She's a regular contributor to the Guardian online, and has worked as a features writer for the New York Post, in Manhattan.

She was the first black woman to ever present ITV News At Ten, and was recently part of the presenting line up for ITV's special Royal Wedding programme.

As well as refusing to wear a poppy on Remembrance Day, preferring instead to be "neutral and impartial", she also criticised Radio 1 for relying on "stereotypes" in their broadcasting.
