The Media Society, in association with The London Press Club, invites you to an evening of insight into the way newspapers and digital journalism are produced, who does what, and why.
The Editor of the Evening Standard and the new Editor of the Daily Mail invite student journalists who would like to hear more about the world of journalism from a group of writers on the Evening Standard, the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, The Independent, i, Metro and the Times to come to Northcliffe House where all these titles (bar the Times) are based.
There'll be a panel of journalists taking questions from the audience, an opportunity to tour the building and see the different newsrooms and a chance to network with the professional journalists on hand.
When booking your ticket, please select one of the following:
- GROUP 1. Arrive Northcliffe house 17.30. Tour of newsrooms, then panel discussion (40 places)
- GROUP 2. Arrive Northcliffe House 18.15. Panel discussion 18.30 followed by drinks & tour of newsrooms (40 places)
- GROUP 3. Arrive Northcliffe house, Panel discussion 18.30 followed by drinks and networking opportunity (no tour: 20 places)
Doors open at 6pm, conversation starts at 6.30pm
The £10 entry price to this event includes one year's free membership to The Media Society for students, which offers half price entry at a range of events. Refreshments are also included.
